How do I get a quote?

It is very easy to get a quote on Eddico. All you have to do is simply describe your transport request for FREE to get a quote. The transport partners will review your request and those who are available to offer you a service will give you a quote.

You can then message the partner on the Eddico platform by using our one-to-one messaging system if you have any questions or want to clarify all the details before you decide. Within a few minutes you will receive the first offers. We also notify you by email every time you receive an offer, so you do not have to be online on the platform all the time.

What to do if I am not sure about weight/dimensions?

It often happens that you do not know the measurements and weights of the items you want to transport, so do not worry! You can make do with simple estimates. This will give the transport partner an idea of the size of the vehicle needed.

If you can upload a photo, that will also be very helpful in clarifying any questions that may arise.

How to Upload a Photo?

All you need to do is make sure your image is in an image format (eg .gif, .jpg, .bmp, .png etc...). You can then upload up to 5 photos per post list.

How long should I wait to receive an offer?

It may take a while before you receive offers for your request. So do not panic if you do not receive the offer immediately. Sometimes it can take a few days for an available transport partner to see your post, but you will certainly receive an offer.

How do I accept a quote?

To accept an offer a quote, click the "View Quotes" button next to your post. When you are ready to accept an offer, click the 'Accept Quote' button and follow the simple deposit payment procedure to secure your place. You can pay your deposit using either a credit or debit card.

After accepting the offer, you will receive the contact details of the transport provider by email, which will also be visible to you on the platform.

We strongly advise you to use our one-to-one messaging system to go through all the details you require before accepting the offer.

How do I decline a quote?

If for any reason you no longer wish to consider an offer, simply click on the "View Quotes" button next to your post and click on the "Delete" button

I no longer need quotes, how can I delete the request?

We would like to see you leaving once you are satisfied to arrange your delivery at the most reasonable cost with the most convenient transport partner. We trust that it will be the case!

If for any reason you wish to cancel your delivery request, please click the "Delete" button next to your post you no longer wish to list in your account.

Why can't I accept a quote?

If the offer does not appear on your review page, it may be that the offer has been rejected, withdrawn or has expired. If you are having trouble accepting an offer, please check whether or not your offer is still active.If the problem still continue, please contact  one of our our customer service representatives.

What should I do if I`ve accepted the wrong quote?

If you have paid the deposit, please contact our customer service so that the payment is forwarded to the correct transport provider

How do I pay?

Once you have chosen a transport partner and service, you will need to make a small deposit online by debit or credit card to secure your chosen transport partner and service.

You can then pay the balance directly to the transport partner. Each transport partner also provides their own payment options and terms on their profile page. Please also check these pages before accepting an offer.

I have accepted a quote and paid the deposit, what do I do now?

You have now completed all the steps and booked your transport service. We advise you to confirm all delivery details before booking the service through our platform and to carefully read the insurance, payment and service conditions of your chosen transport partner. You and the transport partner now have  each others's contact details to get in touch.
As Eddico, it is our job to bring people who want to move and the transport companies who want to offer this service together on one platform. All transport partners go through our own quality check before they are allowed to submit offers for jobs listed on the platform. However, we as Eddico are not involved in the transport business itself.


How do I cancel my delivery after booking the service?

Once you have accepted an offer, Eddico will book the service for you. We advise you to cancel the service yourself by contacting the transport partner directly. Alternatively, we can help you with the cancellation via our customer service.

My transport provider has cancelled, what can I do?

If the cancelling party is your transport partner, please contact our customer service as soon as possible.

How can I get registered to Eddico?
